North Dublin Lady Captain's Golfing Ass.

MGC Lady Captains had a fantastic day at The North Dublin Lady Captain's Golfing Ass. Day in Rush yesterday. Congratulations to Anne Howlett, the overall prize winner and recipient of the Maureen Mc Kenna Trophy, presented by Mary Mc Kenna, MBE. MGC also won the team Trophy and Pennant awarded for the three best club scores from Anne Howlett, Pauline Duddy and Mary Hughes. A very rewarding day for Malahide with Noreen Farrell winning the prize for the longest drive. Well done Lady Captains, a first pennant for 2012 and hopefully more to follow.

Qualifiers for Pro-Am

As a result of last Sunday's Hospice Fundraiser, the following two teams have qualified to participate in the Philip Walton Pro-Am on Friday 8th June 2012. Team 1 - Nigel Harvey, Paddy Smith & Niall Barry; Team 2 - Gavin O'Connor, Michael D'Arcy & PJ Smith.

North Dublin Ladies Alliance Double Win for MGC

New Bridge 7th Hole Blue Course

The New Bridge on the 7 th hole on the Blue course sponsored by Mr Larry Laffan was opened today. Harry Smith cut the ribbon and wished good health to all who crosses her. My sincere thanks to Larry Laffan for this magnificent new foot bridge and to Colm Murphy and Martin Dunne for erecting it. Fred Moran, Captain. Ladies' Fashion Show

The Ladies Fashion Show in aid of Multiple Sclerosis Ireland was a fantastic success. Many thanks to organiser Paula O'Flynn and to all the members who modelled the beautiful clothes & accessories from Divine Boutique, Stepz Boutique and John Murray Pro shop. M.C. Hospice Club Day - Sunday 22nd April 2012

"The benefit day in aid of the Hospice will be held on Sunday 22nd April. This will be called Hospice Club Day. The men's competition on the day will be 18 Holes Singles and will be open to full and 5 day members. The entry fee will be €10. Two teams to play in the Pro Am on Friday 8th June will be chosen from the overall winner and class winners on the day. It is hoped that as many members as possible will take part on the day.
