Sean Breen won Captain Frederick Moran's Prize on Saturday 7th July 2012 with an outstanding score of 81 stableford points pushing Michael Lawler into the runner-up spot with 78 points. In an incredible duel in the sun, Sean, leader from the first round with 41 points, kept his nerve throughout despite being put under enormous pressure by Michael who has won this competition on a number of previous occasions. The day was an astounding success and nobody more then our Captain Fred deserved the glorious weather that we experienced on the day and the throngs of people on the balcony basking in the sun to watch the final stages made for a really special occasion.
